eDV Software Engineer – Mid-Lead Level – Security & Defence
Location: London, Gloucester, or Manchester (Hybrid options available)

We’re working with a range of defence primes, specialist consultancies, and tech-first SMEs delivering cutting-edge software solutions to protect the UK’s critical assets.
These roles are core to national security, working across projects in cyber defence, secure data systems, threat intelligence, and high-integrity platforms. You will need active enhanced DV to be successful.
What you’ll do:
- Design, develop, and maintain secure software systems that meet mission-critical demands
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (DevOps, Data, Cyber, Architecture) to build robust, scalable tools
- Engage with clients and security stakeholders to ensure compliance and reliability
- Work across a modern tech stack in low-trust, high-sensitivity environments
- Contribute to systems architecture, testing, integration, and deployment
Ideal Background:
- Familiarity with secure coding principles and systems engineering
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps tooling is a bonus
- Comfortable working in agile, iterative environments
- Active DV clearance is essential
- A passion for mission-focused work and working in a collaborative, accountable team
