Permanent | £17.00-£22.00 per hour DOE + Overtime

We are working in partnership with a well-established precision engineering company on the outskirts of Redditch, looking to add an experienced CNC Miller to their team due to continued growth.

This is a hands-on role covering programming, setting and operating on both horizontal and vertical machining centres, producing high-quality components to tight tolerances.

The Role

  • Programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines
  • Working with Fanuc controls
  • Editing and proving out programs at the machine
  • Producing components to tight tolerances and specifications
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  • Carrying out in-process inspection and quality checks
  • Supporting improvements in cycle times and machining efficiency
  • Working across small batch, one-offs and repeat work

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a CNC Miller (Programmer / Setter / Operator)
  • Strong experience with Fanuc controls
  • Ability to work to tight tolerances
  • Confident reading engineering drawings
  • Experience with horizontal or vertical machining centres up to 4 Axis
  • Training & Progression

CAD/CAM experience is advantageous, however training in offline programming is available for the right candidate. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop into a more programming-focused role.

What's On Offer

  • £40,000-£45,000 Per Annum depending on experience
