ICT Infrastructure Support Specialist

Overview

We are seeking 2 dedicated and skilled ICT Infrastructure Support Specialists to join our dynamic team in DSFS delivering IT Infrastructure support to Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. Under the guidance of the ICT Infrastructure Support Lead the role provides technical support on all aspects of the Trust’s IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the management, deployment, maintenance and support of the Trust’s network, servers, desktop management and telecommunications infrastructure.
• Undertake regular monitoring and checks for the IT network and infrastructure, identifying patterns.
• Undertake Cyber Security tasks, including patching, security monitoring, and responding to CareCerts and Security Alerts.
• Participate in the planning process for technical projects and ongoing operational management of the Trust’s IT infrastructure.
• Research, evaluate, requisition, install and troubleshoot hardware and software to meet defined objectives.
• Participate in the administration of the Trust’s database platforms.
