A Project Architect role is available delivering a long-term education project in Bedford. The position involves leading design and technical delivery across all RIBA stages, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with DfE standards. This hybrid role combines remote working with weekly site visits and optional London office access.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the school project through all RIBA stages to ensure successful delivery
- Coordinate design and technical information using Revit
- Attend weekly site visits in Bedford to monitor progress and compliance
- Manage stakeholder communication and represent the project in meetings
- Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to meet programme targets
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure alignment with DfE standards
Required Skills and Experience
- Qualified Architect with ARB registration
- 10+ years post-qualification experience, including education projects
- Strong knowledge of DfE requirements and education sector standards
- Proven ability to manage projects independently across all stages
- High proficiency in Revit and technical delivery
- Strong communication and organisational skills within a hybrid environment
