Join a team where quality, curiosity and continuous improvement truly matter.
Are you someone who loves diving into analytical work, takes pride in precision, and enjoys supporting others to grow? If so, this Senior QC Laboratory Analyst role could be a fantastic next step. You'll be part of a friendly, dedicated Quality Control team, helping ensure our raw materials and finished products meet the highest standards - all while shaping the way we work and supporting colleagues along the way.
Please note: Due to the nature of our business, all successful candidates will be required to complete a basic DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service check) before employment can commence, and at regular intervals during employment.
Dechra is a growing, global specialist in veterinary pharmaceuticals. Our expertise is in the development, manufacture, marketing and sales of high-quality products exclusively for veterinarians worldwide. It's a great time to join our modern Skipton facility, and further investment at the Skipton site means we're in an exciting period of positive change for the business.
Here at Dechra, our values are embedded within our culture and thrive within our family of almost 2000 colleagues globally. From manufacturing to marketing, (D)edication, (E)njoyment, (C)ourage, (H)onesty, (R)elationships and (A)mbition are at the heart of our everyday operations and the way we do business.
In this role, you'll be responsible for a wide range of analytical activities that keep our products safe, compliant and ready for release. You'll carry out routine testing, stability work and validation analysis, always following our written procedures and Quality Management System.
As a senior member of the team, you'll also be a mentor and technical expert - someone others turn to for guidance, troubleshooting and support. You'll help drive improvements in our laboratory processes, contribute to investigations and CAPA activity, and play an active role in maintaining a clean, safe and well‑organised working environment.
We're looking for someone who is not only technically strong, but also enthusiastic, collaborative and committed to doing things the right way. You'll thrive here if you enjoy focused analytical work, supporting others and contributing to a positive team culture.
We work across a 9-day fortnight at our Skipton site. This means every second Friday will be your day off, allowing for longer weekends so you can spend more time with family and friends, offering a great work‑life balance.
We also provide an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) for confidential emotional, physical and financial wellbeing support 24/7 365.
