Accounts Supervisor – Leatherhead

£45,000 - £53,000 Hybrid working Excellent Package

Join a well‑established international firm of accountants with an excellent reputation in the UK and abroad. They have a career opening based in the Surrey office for an ACA or ACCA qualified accountant with experience in practice, to work closely with the senior management team.

The role is challenging and varied; you will be responsible for managing your client portfolio, developing junior staff and reviewing the quality of their work.

Key Responsibilities

• Reviewing the management accounts for UK and multi‑national companies prepared by staff within the department
• Advising on VAT and PAYE matters
• Assisting start‑ups in all aspects of financial support
• Implementing accounting and computerised financial systems
• UK financial reporting for limited companies, sole traders and LLPs
• Project work, including investigations and the occasional secondments to clients
• Multi‑currency accounting
• Providing general business advice on a wide range of subjects to clients
• The firm uses modern systems, including Sage and Xero.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified accountant
• Experience in practice
