This is a uniquely dual‑natured role that sits at the intersection of operational excellence and strategic vision. As Senior Manager, Social Operations & Strategy, you will be the driving force behind how Prime Video shows up on social media – owning the end‑to‑end operational backbone while simultaneously helping to shape the direction of social for Prime Video. You’ll roll up your sleeves to solve tactical challenges when needed, and step back to develop strategies that elevate our social presence at scale.

Key job responsibilities

  • Manage the social media tooling ecosystem – including publishing platforms, measurement and analytics solutions, and security protocols.
  • Ensure the seamless operational execution of content planning, creative development, distribution, and publishing across all social platforms and involving all stakeholder teams.
  • Review and develop processes for Social Media management, including implementation of AI solutions, working alongside multiple partner teams.
  • Drive key strategic projects, including strategic direction, implementation plans, stakeholder alignment and adoption.
  • Track, analyse and report results.
  • Unblock issues, provide escalation management, anticipate and make recommendations for trade‑offs, and meet delivery timelines.

About the team

Amazon MGM Studios is the home for talent, creating and producing Original films and television series for a global audience. Original series premiere exclusively on Prime Video, which is available in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross‑functional marketing programs.
  • Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements.
  • Experience presenting metrics and progress to senior leadership.
  • Direct experience in social media for films and TV.
  • Experience managing social media tools for publishing, measurement and governance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within a global or multi‑market organization, including the ability to design scalable social frameworks that accommodate regional nuances, local teams, and cultural relevance across multiple territories.
  • Experience leveraging platform partnerships for early access to features, beta programmes, or strategic co‑marketing opportunities.
  • Advanced data and analytics capability, including experience defining measurement frameworks, building dashboards, and using data storytelling to influence senior leadership decisions; familiarity with tools enterprise social analytics platforms.
