Pump Service Engineer
Location: Bristol
Salary: Up to £45,000 depending on experience
We are looking for an experienced Pump Service Engineer to join a busy team. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, fault‑finding, and repair of a wide range of electrical pump systems across commercial, industrial, and residential sites. This is a field‑based role requiring strong technical ability, excellent problem‑solving skills, and a customer‑focused approach.
Responsibilities
- Service, maintain, and repair electrical pump systems (including submersible, booster, and wastewater pumps)
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults on‑site
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Install and commission new pump systems
- Complete accurate service reports and documentation
- Communicate effectively with clients and provide technical advice
- Ensure all work complies with health & safety regulations
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2/3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation or Engineering
- 17th/18th Edition Wiring Regulations (preferred)
- Proven experience working with pump systems or similar equipment
- Strong fault‑finding skills in both electrical and mechanical systems
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Strong customer service and communication skills
