First Line Manager – Warehouse& Transport

We’re now looking for a First Line Manager to take the helm of our daily Ops & transport operations!

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• To plan, co‑ordinate, supervise and report on work activities of a team; providing effective communication, leadership, motivation, training & development
• Manage staffing levels to meet volumes and productivity KPIs
• Direct the daily activity to ensure a safe, secure, clean and fair work environment for the team
• Preparation of key performance indicators
• Deliver team performance reviews, development and/or succession planning as required
• Ensure compliance to standard operating procedures (SOPs, SSOWs and RA’s)
• Work in collaboration with other DHL sites to maximise efficiencies and best practice

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• Previous First Line Manager Experience, either within Operations OR Transport
• Experience in Managing Teams/Multiple departments
• Experience of working in a busy retail operation
• IT Literate, with Microsoft Office Package Excel
