Mechanical Supervisor – Manchester / Hybrid

Role

As a Service Support Supervisor, you'll take ownership of service operations‑maximising engine availability, supporting engineers, and ensuring work is delivered efficiently, safely, and profitably.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead & coordinate service engineers and contractors
• Plan & schedule maintenance to meet manufacturer standards
• Support fault finding (remote & on‑site)
• Drive performance across service contracts and jobs
• Manage costs while maintaining high service quality
• Ensure compliance with health & safety standards
• Keep customers satisfied with reliable, cost‑effective service

What You Bring

• 2+ years supervisory experience
• Strong background in mechanical/electrical engineering
• Experience with gas/diesel engines
• Confident problem solver with good decision‑making skills
• Solid IT skills (Microsoft Office)
• Full UK driving licence

Nice to Have

• Gas Safe qualification
• Health & Safety certification (e.g. CSCS)
