Role Entails
This is a hands-on Electronics Engineer role focused on embedded hardware design, PCB development and system-level integration. You'll work across the hardware-firmware boundary, designing electronic circuits and supporting embedded firmware integration on microcontroller-based systems. The role covers the full product lifecycle from concept design and prototyping through to testing, validation and production release, working in a collaborative R&D environment with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electronic circuits and embedded hardware systems.
- Support PCB design, schematic capture and component selection.
- Contribute to embedded firmware development in C/C++ for hardware bring-up and system integration.
- Integrate sensors and communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, Modbus).
- Prototype, test and debug embedded electronics and PCB-level systems.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and firmware integration issues.
- Support product validation, testing and regulatory compliance activities.
- Work collaboratively with firmware, software, sensor and test engineering teams.
Essential Requirements of a Electronics Engineer
- Strong experience designing electronic circuits and embedded hardware systems.
- Experience working with microcontroller-based embedded systems.
- Solid understanding of analogue and digital electronics design.
- Experience with PCB design, debugging and hardware testing.
- Understanding of embedded communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, Modbus).
- Experience working in R&D or product development environments.
Desirable Requirements of a Electronics Engineer
- Experience contributing to embedded firmware development in C or C++.
- Experience developing low-power embedded electronics or sensor-based products.
- Familiarity with safety-critical or regulated engineering environments
