As we continue to grow, we're looking for skilled Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Service Engineers who take pride in their craft and want to be part of a business where their contribution truly matters. You'll cover Suffolk, Norfolk and Cambridgeshire areas.
What You'll Do
- Carry out planned service and maintenance on a wide range of refrigeration and air‑conditioning systems.
- Diagnose faults, identify solutions, and deliver timely, effective repairs.
- Install, test, and commission new systems to the highest industry standards.
- Complete refrigerant recovery, evacuation and recharging work safely and accurately.
- Provide exceptional customer service and represent Pitkin & Ruddock with professionalism.
- Maintain detailed service records and ensure full compliance with company procedures.
- Keep up to date with the latest technologies, equipment, and best practices.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contractors to deliver projects efficiently and safely.
- Consistently adhere to our robust Health & Safety standards.
What You'll Bring
- Proven experience as a Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Service Engineer.
- Strong working knowledge of commercial refrigeration and AC systems (including walk‑ins, bottle coolers and ice machines).
- Confident mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.
- Sound understanding of refrigerant handling and recovery procedures.
- A proactive approach to problem‑solving and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Great communication skills and a customer‑focused mindset.
- A valid UK driver's licence.
- Relevant qualifications such as F‑Gas, NVQ, or City & Guilds.
