About the Team

Amey’s geotechnical practice sits within the Highways business and works cross‑sector with the Rail and Environment businesses. We carry out geotechnical work on all stages of a project life cycle, from inception to construction and handover of new geotechnical and structural assets. These assets include new bridges, embankments, cuttings and retaining structures. We are also heavily involved in asset management for our major clients across highways and rail sectors. This includes asset inspections, implementation of monitoring plans and design of remedial solutions where failures occur.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Geotechnical Engineering Graduate you will become proficient at investigating sites, understanding existing assets and using a broad range of geotechnical products and techniques to help keep the UK’s transport infrastructure in working order. This will be challenging, but our experienced engineers will be there to mentor and support you as you start your journey into geotechnical engineering.
