Civil Engineer – Highways Design

We are a growing transport planning and infrastructure design consultancy looking to appoint a Civil Engineer focused on highways design. This role offers the opportunity to work on a range of development and infrastructure projects, contributing to the design and delivery of practical, efficient transport solutions.
Responsibilities
- Deliver highways design work across a variety of schemes
- Support project delivery from concept through to detailed design
- Work closely with transport planners and multidisciplinary teams
- Prepare technical drawings, reports, and supporting documentation
- Engage with clients and stakeholders where required
Ideal Candidate
- Experience in highways design within a consultancy environment
- Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D)
- Understanding of UK design standards and guidance
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
- Willingness to travel to Cambridge and/or London as needed
