About The Role

In our EMEA Financial Services practice, we support clients at critical moments of crisis and transformation. The Consultant will be part of the Corporate Finance EMEA Financial Services practice and will work primarily in London.

What You’ll Do

  • Support clients facing crisis and transformation in areas such as business transformation and efficiency, balance‑sheet and restructuring, risk and regulation, data, technology and AI transformation, transaction advisory, and event‑driven crises.
  • Help structure and lead a project workstream, ensuring critical deadlines are met.
  • Work side‑by‑side with clients and the FTI team.
  • Analyze client and market data to uncover insights and produce actionable recommendations.
  • Conduct operational and financial analyses to identify strengths and pain points.
  • Translate recommendations into digestible storylines for presentation to C‑suite.

What You Will Need To Succeed

Qualifications and Experience

  • Master’s degree in business, engineering, or finance with an outstanding academic record.
  • First relevant post‑graduate experience as a Consultant at a Tier 1 consulting firm or a financial services institution.
  • Experience or affinity with the financial services ecosystem (banks, regulators, fintech).
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally as needed.

Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and financial modelling skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex information, communicate effectively, and collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Initiative, efficiency, and adaptation in a changing environment.
