Join The Londoner, a 5‑star super‑boutique hotel in Leicester Square. We are recruiting an Events and Groups Sales Executive to join the Sales team and drive revenue through the sale of event spaces and ancillary revenue via telephone, email, and face‑to‑face meetings.
Responsibilities
- Achieve maximum revenue through selling event spaces and other ancillary revenue to customers via telephone, email, and face‑to‑face.
- Utilize customer service and sales skills to identify guest needs, writing accurate proposals that provide the optimal experience for client events while maximizing revenue potential.
- Be the client advocate ensuring all needs from the initial booking to follow‑up service requests prior to, during, and after the event are delivered and expectations exceeded.
About You
- Current Meetings and Events Sales experience within a 4- or 5-star hotel environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Natural tele sales ability including closing skills and appropriate tone of voice.
- Ability to effectively listen and position Edwardian Hotels London to meet client needs.
- Ability to generate revenue opportunities including upselling and proactive selling.
- Technical knowledge of hotel booking systems including Opera and Delphi.
