QHSE Officer
Location: Attleborough
Salary: £35,000 - £37,000
Overview
An excellent opportunity for a QHSE Advisor or similar to step up into a QHSE Officer role. You'll be responsible for ensuring compliance with Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety standards, while promoting a strong safety culture across factory and farm operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain H&S and Environmental systems, policies, and risk assessments
- Lead audits (internal/external) and liaise with regulatory bodies
- Support QMS and Food Safety compliance
- Provide HSE advice and guidance across the business
- Deliver inductions, training, and Safety Committee meetings
- Produce monthly QHSE reports and drive continuous improvement
- Conduct audits, inspections, and accident investigations
- Support managers in identifying and reducing risks
Requirements
- Experience in HSE within manufacturing
- Knowledge of risk, COSHH, and PUWER assessments
- Experience delivering training
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- NEBOSH Certificate (desirable)
- Internal Audit qualification (desirable)
