Attendance Officer

Overview

Willenhall Primary School is seeking a full-time attendance officer to work in partnership with the pastoral team and the senior leaders of the school. The successful candidate will enhance our established Pastoral Team and be motivated and committed to supporting young people and their families in our school environment. The role requires understanding the challenges facing pupils from disadvantaged communities and helping to break down barriers that affect attendance. A proven track record of working with vulnerable young people and children is required.

Responsibilities

• Work in partnership with the pastoral team and senior leaders to support pupil attendance.
• Enhance the school's Pastoral Team through effective attendance interventions.
• Support young people and their families within the school environment.
• Identify and address barriers to attendance for pupils from disadvantaged communities.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of working with vulnerable young people and children.
