Accountancy Practice Manager/ Office Manager

A growing and highly successful independent firm of chartered accountants is seeking a Practice Manager / Office Manager to play a central role in its continued evolution. This is a broad, commercially focused position, deeply embedded in the leadership, development and day‑to‑day running of the firm. This is a long‑term opportunity offering real influence—ideal for someone who enjoys shaping people, processes and performance within a professional practice environment.

The role:

• Managing and developing a fee base, with oversight of billings and revenue streams
• Leading, mentoring and improving staff across the firm
• Playing a key role in the leadership and strategic development of the practice
• Overseeing client take‑on and ensuring smooth onboarding processes
• Driving operational efficiency and supporting continued growth

About you:

• ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
• 5+ years’ experience within accountancy practice
• Proven management experience, with a strong focus on people development
• Skilled in handling performance sensitively and effectively
• Commercially aware, with a proactive and hands‑on approach
