Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily logistics and transport planning
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and Business Development Managers (BDMs) to understand requirements
- Liaise with customers via phone and email to provide updates and resolve queries
- Use internal systems including Circle and a logistics calculator to support planning and operations
- Maintain accurate records using Microsoft Word and Excel
- Monitor schedules and ensure timely delivery of services
Qualifications
- Previous experience in logistics or transport planning preferred
- Good understanding of 3.5t and 7.5t vehicle payloads (desirable)
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook/email)
- Comfortable using in‑house systems (training provided)
- Strong communication skills, particularly over the phone
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively
- Good attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
Compensation and Schedule
Pay Rate – £13.45
Hours of work – 40 hours per week (7:30 am or 8:00 am start)
