About the Role
This role involves balancing customer demand with production resources based on material and packaging availability, ensuring just‑in‑time readiness to achieve On Time In Full (OTIF) production within inventory targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop an achievable and efficient production schedule that considers material availability, labour, resource constraints/capacity/targets, and food‑safety requirements to meet dispatch dates and maintain OTIF performance.
- Communicate any production‑related issues that may affect customer orders to Customer Care.
- Monitor and identify risks or deviations that may impact adherence to the production plan.
- Review customer requests for changes in order quantity or delivery dates.
- Participate in the Daily Tier 1 meeting.
- Raise issues that affect other departments through the Tier 2 meeting process.
- Provide information for the weekly production planning meeting, outlining the upcoming week’s plan and identifying long‑term operational considerations and opportunities.
- Contribute to meeting inventory targets by ensuring timely use of rework materials or items with short shelf life.
- Provide information and clarification to other functions regarding the production plan.
Qualifications and Skills
- Fluency of English language, both verbal and written, and ability to communicate effectively.
- Relevant qualifications / equivalent experience in supply chain department.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Excellent time management skills.
- SAP experience desired.
- Structured & disciplined in adherence to standards and way of working.
- Open mind with problem solving abilities.
