Job Summary

Castleton Primary School is a vibrant, inclusive double pupil admission school. The last Ofsted inspection described us as requiring improvement.

Position Details

Grade: Grade 7 (SCP 25 – 29). Contract Type: Permanent. Hours: 37 per week. Working Pattern: All year round. Salary: £36,363 – £39,862.

Responsibilities

  • Work in the school office alongside the administrative team, dealing with staff, pupils and the public.
  • Provide high levels of support, teamwork and cooperation, upholding the school’s ethos and the UNCRC International Rights of the Child.

Qualifications

  • Proficient spoken English; able to converse at ease with customers and service users and provide accurate advice.
  • Must undergo an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and background check.
  • Can provide proof of Right to Work in the UK if invited to interview.
  • Strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Additional Requirements

  • An online background check will be conducted as part of due diligence in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education 2025.
