Fraud Management Information (MI) & Reporting Senior Analyst sits at the heart of our expanding Economic Crime (PROTECT) team, a first‑line function dedicated to safeguarding our customers and protecting the business from fraud and financial crime. As we continue to grow, this role offers the chance to shape how we understand risk, strengthen our controls, and deliver clear, insightful reporting that supports senior leaders across Compliance, Risk, and the wider business.
You’ll thrive here if you’re energised by data and confident turning complex information into meaningful insight. Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills will help you bring clarity to performance trends, highlight emerging risks, and influence decision‑making at senior levels. You’ll have the opportunity to contribute to governance forums, build trusted relationships with stakeholders, and play a key role in enhancing how we monitor, report, and respond to fraud.
Success in this role means taking ownership of your workload, staying organised in a fast‑moving environment, and continually looking for smarter, more automated ways of working. Your ability to streamline processes, create scalable reporting products, and spot gaps in performance will directly support fraud prevention and help the business stay one step ahead.
If you’re driven by insight, motivated by impact, and ready to help shape the future of fraud reporting, this is a place where your expertise will truly matter.
At Nationwide, we offer hybrid working wherever possible. More rewarding relationships are supported through our hybrid approach, bringing colleagues together across our UK‑wide estate, whilst also supporting generous access to home working. We value our time in the office to solve problems, to learn, and to feel connected.
Location: You will be located at our nearest regional hub. There will be a need to regularly connect with colleagues for collaboration events in one of our office sites. This is anticipated to be twice a year at our Glasgow hub. If your application is successful, your hiring manager will provide further details on how this works.
You’ll take ownership of designing and delivering a suite of Power BI dashboards that bring clarity to Economic Crime risk and performance, ensuring senior leaders receive accurate, timely and insightful reporting. Your work will involve generating and interpreting data, understanding end‑to‑end data flows, and developing new MI as stakeholder needs evolve. You’ll provide predictive insights to teams across Fraud Analytics, Fraud Strategy, and Fraud Service Delivery, while tracking the bank’s position against key risk and performance indicators and escalating any control concerns promptly.
Collaboration will be central to your role as you respond to ad‑hoc MI requests, support regulatory reporting, coordinate inputs for risk committees, and represent the bank at industry MI events. You’ll act as a subject‑matter expert on change initiatives affecting MI and reporting, ensuring high standards are maintained throughout. As a trusted partner to the business and second line of defence, you’ll deliver clear, reliable insight and confidently step in as a delegate for the Fraud MI Manager when required.
