NHS Supply Chain currently has an opportunity for a Quality Improvement & Patient Safety Advisor to join our team during an exciting period of transformation, working to make it easier for the NHS to put patients first.
We are seeking a Quality Improvement & Patient Safety Advisor who will be responsible for ensuring robust oversight of clinical quality assurance, enabling data‑driven decision‑making to uphold patient safety standards and procurement excellence. Working within the central Clinical directorate but aligned to and supporting defined commercial categories and procurement frameworks, the role brings structure, clarity, and rigor to clinical quality intelligence gathering and due diligence, ensuring alignment with NHS Supply Chain’s broader strategic objectives.
The Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Advisor plays a vital role in the day‑to‑day management and facilitation of clinical quality Improvement and patient safety across specific frameworks within designated NHS Supply Chain categories. Reporting to the Clinical Quality Improvement and patient safety Manager this role ensures the application of clinical quality improvement, clinical quality assessment and post award quality management processes as well as supporting complaints risk assessments, regulatory alignment, and overall resilience.
