Sunderland AFC are offering an exciting opportunity to join the club’s Player Recruitment Department as a Scouting Analyst Intern within an EPPP Category One Academy environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce individual and team scouting reports
- Conduct video scouting across youth & professional competitions
- Maintain player tracking databases and recruitment workflows
- Create player analysis clips using Sportscode
- Support live scouting assignments and recruitment projects
Ideal Candidate
- Strong interest in football scouting & recruitment
- Good understanding of player evaluation and game principles
- Comfortable using video analysis tools
- Sportscode & iMovie experience desirable
- Python/data analysis knowledge advantageous
- Proactive, organised and collaborative mindset
