Equans is looking for a Bid Project Manager to join our team on a permanent basis. This is a full‑time role working 37.5 hours per week. The role offers a competitive salary, bonus and benefits package.
The Bid Project Manager role provides administrative, project management and writing support as part of a dedicated bid team on strategic bids or across multiple bids at any time. It is a development role with the opportunity to experience all parts of the Business Development Lifecycle. With experience, the Bid Project Manager will gradually take on more responsibility working toward Bid Manager or another role in the business development team.
This role can be based from any Equans office in the UK.
What will you deliver?
- Support bids/bid teams at all bid values from growth opportunities circa £500k to renewals and new business in excess of £100m OBV.
- Provide Project Management support to Bid Managers/Directors inline with internal and external deadlines.
- Define all bid deliverables including technical, quality, commercial, financial and legal packages with support from other senior team members.
- Work with the content team and SMEs in the business to draft high quality and compelling content for bids.
- Proactively generate standard content and case studies for the Knowledge Hub.
- Understand the Bid Lifecycle, process and tools that enable best practice and continual improvement in the quality and success of bids.
- Support lessons learned processes and the adoption of improvement plans.

Who are we looking for?
- Some experience in a sales/bidding environment desired.
- 2+ years in FM/Sustainability/Engineering business.
- Experienced in working in a bidding or project‑based environment.
- Thrives in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience of demanding high standards for delivery, quality and accuracy.
- Experience of maintaining and developing quality‑assured processes.
- Confident and articulate in all communications.
- Highly competent in MS Office software.
- Experienced in additional systems/tools such as SharePoint, Salesforce and client web portals.
- Imaginative and creative, especially in the visual presentation.
