Role Overview

This Business Development Manager role will be key in the delivery of our client’s next phase of ambitious profitable growth for sustainable packaging across the UK.

We are looking for candidates who are ambitious to be the very best for their customers, working in close collaboration. You will engage with the relevant functions within prospect customers (beyond procurement) to support their needs and to demonstrate how our client’s unique and bespoke products and solutions can create and deliver mutual value. Your main focus will be to sell more, lower cost and reduce risk, and must be able to do this intuitively.

Working closely across the Sales network you will be responsible for exploiting new business opportunities for the UK. Your objective will be to create innovative solutions for target customers in strategic market segments and identify growth opportunity in new markets. You will undertake solutions selling: from concept and design stages through to first orders, and will be expected to deliver new add-value business.

Our client is looking for a positive team player to lead in a co-operative and collaborative manner. Most importantly you should have a strong understanding of the customer’s environment and their current and future challenges.
