Occupational Therapist, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire

Allen Speech and Language is continuing to expand its commissioned SEND services within Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a growing independent therapy provider delivering high-quality Local Authority commissioned services that have a direct impact on the educational access, functional independence and long-term outcomes of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

We are looking for HCPC registered Occupational Therapists to undertake a combination of:

Functional Occupational Therapy Assessments

Sensory processing and sensory needs assessments

EHCP assessment advice and provision recommendations

Specialist / tribunal assessments

Direct therapy and intervention planning

Collaborative work with schools, families and multi-agency professionals

This role offers varied, meaningful and highly rewarding work.

We would love to hear from therapists who have:

• Registration with Health and Care Professions Council
• Experience supporting children and young people with SEND
• Strong assessment, report writing and clinical reasoning skills
• Experience writing Occupational Therapy advice for EHCPs (preferred)
• Knowledge of sensory processing, fine motor, functional and environmental needs
• Tribunal experience (desirable but not essential)
• Ability to work independently across education, clinic and community settings

All bands from NQT-Management will be consisdered.

Roles can be full-time, part-time, term-time only, depending on prefernce.

Will start from July onwards, with main contract starting in Septmeber. xwzovoh
