18 hours per week, 52.14 weeks per year, Fixed Term until 4 January 2027 St Ninian’s Primary is a Catholic primary school situated in Dedridge Livingston, West Lothian. The current school roll is 268 students with 68 pupils in our Nursery. The staff of the Nursery and the school work closely together to support all learners across the nursery and school including those designated to support students with additional learning needs. St Ninian’s has an excellent reputation in the local community, particularly for the high standards of conduct and confidence displayed by students. The school and ELC receives a high level of support and encouragement from parents. Attendance at parents’ evenings is very good, and information and consultation exercises are well supported. St Ninian’s Primary School nursery class are looking for an enthusiastic Pupil Support Worker who will contribute to providing a safe, secure and inclusive nursery environment that builds the confidence of young people and enhance their ability to play and learn. The setting is open 50 week per year and staff work flexibly on a rota across the opening hours. The Post Holder will work with and support nursery pupils in a range of situations. They are an integral part of the Nursery team involved in implementing strategies designed to improve pupil performance in the following areas: Supporting the personal care of pupils Supporting the preparation of nursery snacks and supervision of pupils while eating meals. These changes include giving you the support and environment that you need to get on with your job and develop your abilities.
