Security Status: Counter Terrorist Check (CTC)
Medical: Train Driver Medical GO/RT3451 (including Drugs & Alcohol screening and ECG where applicable)
Security Pass: DRS / P4 (location dependent)

Please note - We are currently not hosting trainee train drivers, please only apply if you have a valid up to date train driving license


About the role

At NTS, our Train Drivers play a vital role at the heart of the UKs nuclear and specialist freight rail operations. From Inverness, youll help deliver safe, reliable and punctual services that support our customers, our communities and the UKs critical national infrastructure.

As a Train Driver, youll be trusted with operating trains safely and professionally, carrying out train preparation, shunting and inspection activities, and upholding the highest standards of safety, security and compliance every shift, every journey.

This is a safetycritical role for individuals who take pride in precision, professionalism and teamwork.
