The Team
The Risk team worksin partnership across Covato support informed decisionmaking and positive outcomes. We bring diverse perspectives, curiosity, andpractical insightto help embed risk as a performance enabler. As the function continues to evolve, we are focused onstrengthening risk culture, enhancing the quality of risk data and MI, and continuously improving how risk supports strategic decisionmaking. Our inclusive, collaborative cultureencourages professional challenge, shared learning, and the development of risk capability across the business.
What you can expect in this role
Youllplay a key role inProviding Line2oversightand challenge across enterprise risks, including operational, financial crime,insurance,legislative andregulatory risks(excluding technology and cyber)
Youllwork closely withbusiness leaders, helping tosupport risk-informed decision making
Youllcontributetothedeliveringofclear,authoritativeandoutcome-focused risk opinionsintorelevant governance anddecisionmaking forums, acting as a trusted advisor on risk strategy andappropriate responses.
Youllbeleading initiatives to strengthen risk cultureand capability as part of a wider business transformation programme, embedding more forward-looking,insight-led risk practices across the organisation.

What you might bring
Experienceinenterprise riskwithin Financial Services (General Insurance would be a bonus), or a strong interest in building yourexpertisein this space
Skills inRisk,with the ability to break down complex issues and explain them clearlyand a curiosity to keep learning and developing
Experience leading and influencing at senior level, with afocus on coaching, capabilityupliftand setting expectations for highquality technical judgement
An organised, thoughtful way of working
A focus on making a real impactusing risk insight to support better decisionsand deliver positive outcomes for customers and colleagues
