Role Overview
We’re looking for a Senior Product Owner (UX) to translate product vision into user-centric outcomes. You’ll own the product backlog, drive UX prioritisation, and ensure high-value delivery through close collaboration with design, engineering, and business stakeholders.
You’ll act as the voice of the user, ensuring that product decisions align with both user needs and long-term strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate product strategy into a clear, actionable roadmap focused on user value
- Own and prioritise the product backlog based on business impact, user needs, and technical considerations
- Collaborate closely with design and engineering to define requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Use data, research, and feedback to guide prioritisation and decision‑making
- Facilitate agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
- Break down complex features and ensure teams have clarity to deliver effectively
- Align business objectives with user outcomes and manage stakeholder expectations
- Monitor product performance, user feedback, and market trends to drive continuous improvement
About You
- 5+ years’ experience as a Product Owner with a strong UX focus
- Proven experience managing and prioritising complex product backlogs
- Strong advocate for user‑centred design and research‑led decisions
- Ability to balance UX priorities with business and technical constraints
- Comfortable working cross‑functionally with design, engineering, and commercial teams
- Excellent communication skills across both technical and non‑technical audiences
- Familiarity with SaaS products and modern product/UX tools (e.g. Figma, analytics platforms, delivery tools)
Nice to Have
- Experience working on data‑intensive, analytics, or AI‑driven products
- Exposure to financial services, fintech, or similarly complex domains
