Our mission is to ensure the LEGO Brand remains as powerfully a part of children’s lives in the next 20 years as it has been for the past 60. We aim to reach every kid on the planet, their parents, and adult fans of LEGO—and provide them with meaningful, magical, and playful new experiences.
We are in the earliest phases of this new company, offering a unique opportunity to build a new entity for the world's most beloved and trusted brand. Our culture is open, collaborative, intellectually rigorous, and creatively vibrant.
We are looking for an experienced IT Director to join the Enterprise business unit of LDP. Reporting directly to the COO/CFO, this newly created position will be based in our London headquarters. Our team is new, and we are looking for someone to play a key role in building a scalable, secure, and well-integrated technology environment. The role will enable teams across LDP to work effectively across systems, locations, and partner organisations, ensuring technology supports both day-to-day operations and long-term growth.

- Overseeing day-to-day IT operations and support, ensuring a high-quality, scalable service model
- Defining and executing the IT sourcing strategy, including what capabilities should be built in-house vs. delivered through partners over time
- Building, leading, and scaling the internal IT function over time, including hiring, developing, and managing a high-performing team as the organisation grows
- Owning IT procurement and asset lifecycle management, including laptops, peripherals, and onboarding setup for new hires in partnership with People & Culture
- Ensuring consistent and reliable IT support and user experience across locations, including London and Denmark
- Defining and governing collaboration tools and ways of working, ensuring a seamless experience internally and with external partners (including KIRKBI, LEGO Holding and the LEGO Group)
- Owning and evolving LDP’s information security practices in partnership with relevant stakeholders, including defining policies, access controls, and risk management approaches, as well as establishing clear escalation paths and incident response processes for security and IT-related issues
- Managing relationships with IT vendors, consultants, and service providers, ensuring strong delivery, cost-effectiveness, and long-term sustainability
- Owning workplace technology in the London office, including conference rooms and hybrid meeting environments
- Partnering with cross-functional teams (Operations, People & Culture, Finance) to ensure systems and processes support business needs and growth
- Defining and continuously evolving clear interfaces and responsibilities between IT and Product/Engineering, ensuring alignment on identity, access, data, and security while maintaining clear ownership boundaries
- Establishing IT governance and policies, ensuring security, compliance, and operational discipline
- Identifying and implementing improvements to IT systems, processes, and user experience, bringing structure and scalability as the organisation grows
Qualifications
