Head of Lease Advisory

Responsibilities

• Day to day running of a range of lease advisory instructions, for a variety of purposes.
• Property inspections and measured surveys.
• Standard property due diligence.
• Valuations and report writing.
• Representing and dealing directly with the firm’s clients (many of whom are Blue Chip).
• Maintaining Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
• Keeping abreast of market, case law and legislatory developments.
• A strong ability to develop own business relationships, instructions, and clients both internally and externally.

Qualifications

• Full membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, with post qualification experience.
• A strong understanding of 3rd party, arbitrator and expert witness processes and procedures.
• Educated to degree level (or equivalent).
• A working understanding of The RICS Red Book and Code of Measuring Practice.
• A good understanding of the UK commercial property market.
• Well-developed report writing skills and an ability to identify key issues impacting leasehold obligations and opportunities.
• A very detailed working knowledge of Landlord and Tenant law.
• A strong team mindset with a willingness to undertake challenging and diverse workload in collaboration with colleagues.
• Ability to effectively investigate internal and client data to develop innovative and value driving solutions.
• A strong desire to proactively progress your career within a global company.
• Be able to demonstrate effective time management.
• Full UK driving licence.
