Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified lawyer to join our civil litigation team, performing a range of contentious and non-contentious work in Landlord & Tenant litigation (commercial and residential), Housing Law, Homelessness, Judicial Review proceedings, and Adult Social Care debt. The role includes managing rent disputes, contested debt, and general landlord/tenant matters, as well as handling both claimant and defendant litigation across diverse legal areas.
Responsibilities
- Advise on and manage contentious and non-contentious Landlord & Tenant matters (commercial and residential).
- Handle Housing Law and Homelessness cases.
- Prepare and present Judicial Review proceedings.
- Address Adult Social Care debt cases.
- Deal with rent disputes, contested debt, and other landlord/tenant litigated matters.
- Represent both claimant and defendant sides in litigation.
- Collaborate with the litigation team to develop skills through training and development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Qualified lawyer with UK legal qualification.
- Experience in rent disputes, contested debt, and general landlord & tenant matters.
- Experience managing litigated cases (both claimant and defendant).
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: £42,839 – £54,495 per year.
- Welcome payment of £5,000 for suitable candidates with appropriate experience.
