HSQE Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain HSQE policies and procedures across all operations.
  • Conduct regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on HSQE best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and standards affecting the industry.
  • Collaborate with management and operational teams to foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
  • Prepare and submit HSQE reports to senior management and regulatory bodies as required.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an HSQE Manager or in a similar health, safety, quality, or environmental role.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK health, safety, environmental legislation, and quality management systems.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to conduct audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
  • Relevant qualifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent.
  • Experience in the mechanical services, construction, or drainage industries is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in HSQE software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
