Area Customer Experience Manager (On Board) – Manchester Piccadilly
TransPennine Express is looking for a lead who will ensure our customers receive the best service on board our trains. The role involves leading and influencing a team of Conductors to perform at their best and fulfilling our promises to customers, while closely monitoring their safety competence.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Conductors, ensuring high standards of customer service and safety.
- Monitor and assess safety competence of team members.
- Communicate clearly and engage with the team to deliver outstanding service.
- Oversee line management duties and ensure conductors meet competency requirements.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a line management role within a customer‑focused industry.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and set high customer experience standards.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to influence.
- Conductor competency or currently working toward obtaining it.
- Medical examination covering hearing, eyesight, and a drug and alcohol screening.
