Business Development Officer
Purpose of the role
- To support Brook to diversify and grow income through the sale of its education and wellbeing work, contributing to the financial sustainability of the organisation
- To identify, develop and maintain effective and successful partnerships with a range of education providers, local authorities, businesses, and other organisations who work with and support young people
- To be a persuasive advocate for Brook and its service users
Essential criteria
- Awareness of issues affecting young people, especially in the area of sexuality and personal relationships
- Understanding of the communication skills required to work with a diverse client group including those with complex needs such as disability and communication difficulties
- Has keen interest in the welfare of young people and in their concerns
- Supports the aims and work of Brook Services
- Understanding of equality and diversity principles
- Proficient in MS Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
About the role
- Hours: Full‑time 37.5 hours per week
- Full‑time (upon completing the probationary period, eligible to join the 4‑Day Week program)
- Contract: Permanent
- Location: Bristol or national
- Salary: £26,227.50
- Closing date: 26th May 2026
