Responsibilities
About the team: The e‑commerce industry has seen tremendous growth in recent years and has become a hotly contested space among leading Internet companies. We are seeking a Logistics Network Planning and Quality Control Manager to join our Europe Logistics Operations team, responsible for CBT solutions.
- Oversee the logistics operation in the UK, including import clearance, courier delivery, warehouse fulfillment, reverse logistics and reverse warehouse; responsible for end‑to‑end logistics performance from order creation until delivery in various logistics modes.
- Build and manage key strategic relationships with Key Sellers, 3PLs and Logistics Providers.
- Own SOP execution, monitor operation performance indicators (KPIs), dig into root causes, provide feedback on expected solutions, give short‑term support, and drive results until permanent fixes are deployed.
- Conduct market and industry research, develop operation plans to address issues and hedge risks caused by market or policy changes when needed.
- Manage day‑to‑day operations and local courier operations, track high performance and drive team improvement.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in engineering, logistics transportation, or operations management.
- Excellent understanding of a segment of logistics operation, including data integration, first‑mile pickup, parcel sorting, linehaul, courier delivery, return process, and import clearance.
- Solid working experience and relationships in 4PL/3PL management, preferably with UK couriers.
- Self‑motivated, results‑driven, analytical, data‑sensitive and data‑driven.
Preferred Qualifications
- Solid working experience in platform logistics in the UK with deep understanding and relationships with local major courier companies.
- Fair understanding of e‑commerce marketplace operation and governance policy.
- Willingness to perform short‑term business travel within the UK.
