Project Officer

Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council

We are looking for an organised and motivated Project Officer to provide high‑quality project and business support to the Children and Education Directorate.

Responsibilities

• Provide business support to senior managers across services supporting projects.
• Lead the business support team.
• Participate in minutes taking and other service‑related support activities.
• Organise and prioritise work effectively and take notes at meetings.
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure priorities for children and young people are clearly understood and supported across the directorate.

Qualifications

• Experience of taking notes at meetings is imperative.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
