The Opportunity
Cedar is partnering with a global telecommunications leader to recruit a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of large-scale, complex customer programmes across a dynamic enterprise environment.
This role sits at the heart of project delivery, responsible for driving execution, governance, and stakeholder alignment across high-value, multi-stream initiatives. You'll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to a high commercial and quality standard.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager ready to step into broader ownership and increased visibility within a global organisation.
The Role
As Senior Project Manager, you will take ownership of end-to-end project delivery across complex environments, ensuring strong governance, financial control, and stakeholder engagement throughout the lifecycle.
You will:
- Lead large-scale, complex projects from initiation through to delivery and handover
- Define and manage scope, plans, schedules, and governance structures
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards
- Manage project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Oversee risk, issue, and change control across all assigned projects
- Build strong relationships with customers and senior stakeholders, managing expectations throughout delivery
- Support pre-sales and bid activity, contributing to winning new business
- Ensure smooth transition into operations, including training and documentation
- Apply Agile or hybrid methodologies, acting in a Scrum Master capacity where required
- Drive continuous improvement and benefits realisation across delivery
About You
We are looking for a confident delivery leader with strong commercial awareness and the ability to manage complexity.
Key experience includes:
- 8+ years' experience in project management within telecoms or complex enterprise environments
- Strong experience in governance, financial management, and stakeholder engagement
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
- Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models
Qualifications & Certifications
- Degree educated (or equivalent experience)
- PMP / PMI-ACP (or equivalent)
- Synergy certification (advantageous)
