Our client, a globally recognised organisation with a highly respected and well-established brand is looking for a Senior Compliance Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This role sits at the centre of a dynamic, fast-paced business, providing critical risk and compliance leadership while enabling commercial objectives to be achieved responsibly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the rollout and continuous enhancement of a risk and compliance frameworks, including identifying key risks, designing proportionate controls and ensuring clear ownership across first and second lines.
  • Partner with and oversee policy leads and control owners to support effective delivery of compliance obligations and strengthen accountability.
  • Coordinate effectively across Group functions, central teams and local markets to ensure a consistent and aligned approach to risk and compliance.
  • Design and deliver training and awareness initiatives to embed a strong culture of compliance and ethical behaviour.
  • Support governance forums, including risk and compliance committees, by providing reporting on key metrics, control gaps, audit findings and remediation activities.
  • Produce clear, insight-driven reporting for senior stakeholders to enable informed decision-making.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across the organisation, including with Internal Audit and other assurance functions.
  • Provide independent, constructive challenge and pragmatic advice on risk decisions, mitigation strategies and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct compliance and regulatory risk assessments to support commercial activity, including customer deals and new product or service development.

About You

  • Experience in technology, telecoms and/or B2B environments is highly desirable
  • You bring significant experience from risk and/or compliance roles within complex, regulated organisations, with a strong track record of implementing and improving control frameworks.
  • You have a solid understanding of regulatory compliance and enterprise risk management and are comfortable applying this in a commercial context.
  • You are confident influencing and advising senior stakeholders, with the credibility to provide challenge where needed.
  • You communicate complex risk concepts clearly and practically, enabling the business to take informed and balanced decisions.
  • You are experienced in working across functions and geographies, building strong networks and driving collaboration in matrix environments.
  • Experience within technology with some familiarity with digital regulation or trade and export controls is preferable.
  • You have supported product, commercial or transformation initiatives from a compliance perspective and are comfortable operating across multiple jurisdictions and regulatory regimes.
