Join our Long Covid Service, supporting people across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire to manage and recover from Long Covid. As a Senior Administrator, you'll be at the heart of a compassionate, multidisciplinary team, helping to coordinate patient care, manage referrals, and ensure clinics run smoothly.

This is more than administration, you'll line manage staff, support service improvements, and work closely with clinicians and partner services to deliver a high‑quality, patient‑centred experience. You'll also be a key point of contact for patients, requiring professionalism, empathy, and confidence when handling a range of enquiries, including sensitive situations.

This is a full time, fixed term position for 12 months

Main duties of the job

The Senior administrator is responsible for managing referrals and the service email inbox, ensuring clinics are managed and data quality.

You will line manage a team administrator and work in collaboration with the clinical team and the SASS Business support team.

You will also be responsible for appropriate service developments and improvements.

There is regular telephone contact with patients, booking in patients and answering standard queries. This may include delivering and receiving difficult information, escalating as required.
