Applications & Systems Analyst – Hybrid (i54 or Westerham) ‑ Permanent, Full Time
Responsibilities
- Support and enhance enterprise applications, ensuring stability, performance and alignment with business requirements.
- Provide daily support for EMEAA ERP systems (EFACS8, Sage 300, Sage 200, Fourth Shift); maintain system stability, resolve issues and ensure business continuity across core applications.
- Participate in an out-of-hours support rota to meet business needs when required.
- Support proof‑of‑concept activity, feasibility studies and evaluation of third‑party software and vendors.
- Contribute to end‑to‑end system and process design, integration requirements and technical specifications.
- Assist with both small and large‑scale projects, track progress, raise risks and resolve delivery issues.
- Apply IT governance processes to guarantee robust project definition, controls and delivery standards.
- Proactively understand business processes, drivers and success measures across functions.
- Translate business requirements into technical and operational solutions.
- Provide risk analysis and mitigation options for proposed solutions.
- Influence project scope and solution definition through effective communication and consulting skills.
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes and system efficiency.
- Support the development of performance metrics across IT and business teams.
- Participate in work prioritisation, estimation and roadmap planning.
Qualifications
- Two‑ or four‑year degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience supporting and developing enterprise applications or ERP environments.
- Strong technical skills, including SQL, JavaScript, XML, SSRS and Power BI.
- Experience delivering or supporting small to large‑scale ERP implementations across regions.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving and project management skills.
- Clear, effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working with IT service management tools such as ServiceNow and Jira.
- Solution‑focused mindset with data analysis as a key component.
- Confidence managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
