Software Engineer - Salesforce - £54,000 plus great benefits (Work Level 6A). United Kingdom (Remote). You may be asked to occasionally attend meetings in Manchester, and there may be some requirement for out of hours or weekend working depending on business needs (find out more about our hybrid working policy at colleagues.coop.co.uk/hybrid-working-policy).
We’re looking for a Software Engineer to join our Funeralcare team to help us transform how we design, build, and operate Co-op applications and systems — building APIs and pulling together data from across the business using Salesforce core platforms.
At Co-op, collaboration is part of who we are. We’ll provide you with career and technical coaching, and we run communities of practice to support our colleagues\' learning and development.
We are committed to flexible working arrangements and will discuss your needs during the interview process and at offer stage.

We know that some candidates are less likely to apply for a role if they don’t meet all the criteria in the job description. At Co-op, we’re committed to building a diverse and inclusive working environment, so if you’d like to apply for this role but your experience doesn’t quite meet every point, we’d still encourage you to apply. You may be just the right candidate for the job or other roles we have available.
At Co-op, we’re owned by our members. And because we’re owned by you, we can do right by you. So when you join us, you’re not just taking a job, you’re joining a movement. We’re an organisation that puts people and communities first, and we’re powered by purpose. We want this to be a place where you can thrive, so you’ll also receive:
We\'re building diverse and inclusive teams that reflect the communities we serve. We welcome applications from everyone and are committed to creating a workplace where colleagues can feel like they belong, supported by our inclusive policies and the ways we work.
We\'re proud to be part of the Disability Confident scheme and offer interviews to disabled candidates who meet the minimum criteria for a job. If you need any adjustments during the recruitment process, we\'ll support you.
