CNC Turner - Fanuc Programmer/Setter/Operator (Back Shift)
Location: Kingswinford
Pay: £19.00 - £23.00 per hour (including shift allowance)
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 14:30 - 01:00
Contract: Permanent, Full‑Time
The Company
A well‑established precision engineering manufacturer is looking to add an experienced CNC Turner to their back‑shift machining team. The Role
You will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes using Fanuc controls to produce precision‑engineered components to tight tolerances.
Key responsibilities include:
- Programming at the machine using Fanuc controls
- Setting and operating CNC lathes
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Selecting tooling, setting offsets, and carrying out adjustments
- Producing high‑quality components to tight tolerances
- Carrying out in‑process inspection using measuring equipment
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work area
About You
We're looking for someone with:
- Proven experience as a CNC Turner
- Strong Fanuc programming and setting skills
- Ability to work from technical drawings
- Confident using micrometers, verniers, gauges, and other inspection tools
- A proactive, reliable approach to work
- Experience working to tight tolerances in a precision engineering environment
