Overview
We’re looking for a Microsoft Dynamics & Power Platform Lead. This is a pivotal role responsible for shaping the future of our CRM ecosystem and ensuring our systems support families, nurseries and central teams effectively. You’ll lead both the strategic evolution and hands-on development of our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement platform, particularly the Sales module that supports enquiries, conversions and family engagement. Working closely with our Solution Architect and mentoring a Junior Developer, you’ll design, build and optimise solutions across Dynamics 365 and the Microsoft Power Platform, ensuring they are scalable, secure and aligned with our long-term vision. What You’ll Be Doing
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development and optimisation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (Sales module)
- Shape the long-term roadmap for our CRM and Power Platform solutions
- Work with stakeholders to prioritise improvements and manage the development backlog
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions
Building powerful solutions with the Microsoft Power Platform
- Develop and maintain Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven) to support business processes
- Design and implement Power Automate workflows to improve efficiency and automation
- Configure workflows, business process flows, forms and advanced customisations in Dynamics 365
- Support integrations between Dynamics, Microsoft 365 and other organisational systems
Ensuring strong governance, security and performance
- Implement robust data governance and GDPR compliant practices
- Manage role-based security models, permissions and access controls
- Maintain audit trails and security logs across the platform
- Lead data cleansing, deduplication and data quality initiatives
Managing development and delivery
- Oversee the full development lifecycle across environments (Dev, Test, UAT and Production)
- Support deployments, version control and release management using tools such as Azure DevOps
- Document technical solutions, processes and system architecture
- Ensure solutions remain scalable, stable and aligned with organisational goals
Coaching and supporting colleagues
- Line manage and mentor a Junior Developer
- Conduct code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions
- Provide training and guidance to users to improve adoption of Dynamics and Power Platform
- Create clear documentation, process diagrams and presentations for stakeholders
We’re Looking For Someone Who…
Has the right experience and skills
- Strong experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement
- Hands-on development experience across the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
- Ability to design scalable CRM solutions aligned with business needs
- Experience managing system integrations across Microsoft ecosystems
- Knowledge of development lifecycle management and release processes
- Experience using tools such as Azure DevOps for deployment and version control
