Band 6 – Salary £43,231 to £52,679 per annum
Distant Island Allowance £2,578 per annum
Relocation Assistance up to £6,000 available
NHS Shetland Information and Digital Technology Department seeks an individual to lead the delivery of new technologies across General Practices, supporting the national programme and our Digital Strategy.
Responsibilities
- Lead the roll‑out of modern IT solutions across multiple GP practices.
- Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to streamline workflows and enhance digital services.
- Support the delivery of NHS Shetland’s Digital Strategy and Workplan, progressing national digital change within General Practices.
- Review and meet induction standards and code of conduct for healthcare support workers.
Qualifications
- Experience in a healthcare setting or proven project management experience.
- Background in delivering digital transformation in the public sector.
- Ability to apply knowledge and skills to support colleagues in adopting new digital initiatives.
- Willingness to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to formal offer.
