About The Role

Hedge Fund Investor Relations at Wellington Management works closely with our Hedge Fund Investment Teams, Client Relationship Teams, and Business Colleagues across the firm to support our clients’ investment needs. The platform spans a wide range of strategies, including Equity Long/Short, Global Macro, Credit Long/Short, and Multi‑Strategy.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical leverage to the HF Investor Relations team, serving as a point of contact for internal constituents regarding inquiries about investment teams and products.
• Perform analyses related to portfolio positioning, attribution, risk, market trends, competitive positioning, and pricing.
• Create and maintain marketing materials and review/update standard RFP responses.
• Conduct monthly and quarterly performance and exposure analysis, and provide general flow data and analysis.
• Manage and analyze large data sets, develop efficient workflows, and support product development, marketing, and business management activities.
• Collaborate with investment directors and specialists to review and evaluate the integrity of hedge fund data, analytics, and materials.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of directly relevant experience.
• University degree with strong academic credentials; finance, accounting, or business‑related majors preferred.
• Strong technical skills and mastery of MS Excel.
• Demonstrated analytical skills, including the ability to organize and synthesize data to reach conclusions.
• Strong communication skills, high work ethic, and readiness to hit the ground running.
• Attention to detail and solutions‑oriented mindset.
• Ability to write clearly and succinctly across varied communication settings.
• Strong ownership, accountability, and follow‑through.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a global team.
• Thoroughness, priority setting, and ability to adapt under pressure.
