Senior Treasury Analyst (Front Office) – Hedge Fund - £100k+ base & Large bonus potential

Overview

My client, a multi-billion dollar AUM, multi-strategy hedge fund, that have gone through a period of huge success and exponential growth, are looking to make a senior treasury hire.

We are hiring for a senior treasury analyst to work in a hands-on remit that covers FX hedging, trade analysis, execution and collateral management, as ‘number two’ to the firm’s Head of Treasury. As he is moving internally, to an international office / elsewhere within the business next year, the hire is to be trained up to move into the ‘Head of Treasury’ role himself/herself. You will have oversight of 1-2 juniors in the role.

Responsibilities

• Cover FX hedging, trade analysis, execution and collateral management as part of a hands-on treasury remit.
• Act as the second in command to the Head of Treasury and oversee 1-2 junior staff.
• Lead a major 12-24 month initiative to shift the treasury remit to be fully investment/execution focused, with treasury operations residing in the ops/MO team.
• Project management focus to drive the transition and ongoing process improvements.

Qualifications

• Approximately 7-15rs experience in a treasury role, with a balance of cash management, FX hedging and collateral management experience.
• Ideally with execution experience and a track record of improving operational/treasury processes.

Benefits

The role offers a base salary of £100k+ (variable depending on level of experience). A large percentage of this will be paid as a bonus for strong performance.
